This first session in our two-part AI & the Future of Yoga & Wellness series invites yoga teachers and wellness professionals into a conscious, human-first exploration of AI. At a time when AI is both celebrated and questioned in the wellness world, this session creates space for inquiry, reflection, and perspective, honoring the wide range of feelings and beliefs that exist around this evolving technology. Together, we will gently unpack what AI is, how it is already showing up in the yoga and wellness space, and explore thoughtful, grounded ways it might be approached in both your professional work and personal life. We will also touch on how AI might be engaged as a reflective and creative companion, supporting insight, inspiration, and greater clarity, while still honoring the essential human elements of presence, intuition, and connection that are at the heart of yoga and healing work. This session sets the foundation for Part 2, a dynamic panel conversation with thought leaders in the yoga and wellness community. Join True Nature’s Joshua Canter for this meaningful and timely dialogue and explore how a conscious relationship with AI may help create more spaciousness for what matters most: your students, your community, your practice, and your own humanity.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the basic foundations of AI and reflect on what a mindful, human-first approach might look like, grounded in personal values, awareness, and discernment.
- Recognize some of the ways AI is currently showing up in the yoga and wellness space and explore potential approaches to engaging with it that support, rather than replace, authentic human connection.
- Cultivate greater awareness around boundaries, impact, and alignment, allowing each participant to begin forming their own thoughtful relationship with AI in a way that feels supportive of their wellbeing, work, and community.
